About the Author

The Truth Behind the Man, the Myth, and the Legend

Joshua Mosey began writing at the age of five*, but it wasn’t until the age of 21 that he decided to show anyone what he wrote.** Through a carefully concocted system of threats, bribes, and the occasional hard-earned grade, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Western Michigan University. After college, but before finding meaningful employment, Josh met and married DeAnne, the most beautiful, inspiring, and understanding woman known to man. He worked in a variety of fields*** before settling in at a bookstore to buy, market and sell books and music. He edits and writes for his company’s monthly newsletter, the Baker News & Reviews, and his CD reviews have been published in the West Michigan New Christian Music Spotlight magazine. His literary influences include Terry Pratchett, P.G. Wodehouse, and Edward Gorey. Josh aspires to be the world’s highest paid author.****

*Mostly words like dog and cat.

**Still words like dog & cat, but now he could make them do things.

***Josh didn’t literally work in any field (hay, wheat, or otherwise), but did work at a number of different kinds of jobs, including: moving wood from pile to pile, being the assistant director at a small youth camp in Montana, cooking at a dive near said camp as the camp was non-profit (which the director understood to mean that no one gets paid), and meeting/exceeding sales goals at a clothing retailer in the mall.

****Although he realizes that in order for that to happen, he should also be patient and accept what is offered to him.*****

*****Assuming, of course, that the offer is reasonable.
